Based on observations on the Italian Renaissance, on Buster Keaton's silent film "One Week" and on personal situations, the Swiss theater company Schauplatz International asks what idealism means.
Based on a deconstructivist conception of the space, the set design offers a minimalist composition made of wooden frames filled with a canvas. These frames are an integral part of the flooring. Manipulated over the play by the protagonists, they transform the space , deploying its evolutive and dreamlike dimension.
