This large elegant apartment located in the Wilmersdorf district, in the west part of Berlin is a place where ancient French family furniture has taken refuge. To give it a new face, new elements have been added to the existing ones: the vast white rooms with their moulded ceilings accommodate furniture, accessories and lighting in shades of blue and pink to create a soft and soothing atmosphere that reflects the client’s universe. Yellow is combined with these colours to bring cheerfulness and light.
Colour tones, graphic shapes and the quality of the materials are paramount in our selection – some carefully chosen pieces of design furniture (Muuto, Fermob) alternate with, for example, the wooden and metal guest bed made by a local craftsman (Woodboom). Collaborations with other Berlin craftsmen and artists, the Sainte Rita workshop for the restoration of antique furniture and the photographer Philipp Obkircher with his series “Love”, representing abstract views of the sky in pastel tones, have made it possible to (re)create a warm and unique apartment from the existing one.
